Oh, What A Beautiful Morning!

It was a busy morning on my lanai. First the sunrise!

If any of you wondered if your intrepid editor had fallen off the end of a pier, I have not. Instead I’ve been drowning in the monumental task of selling our home of 28 years and clearing it out along with the memories and thousands of photos that have accumulated […]

Flowers and Things

Dear Members, Please excuse the lack of posts recently–your intrepid editor got stung by some super strong tropical insect and hasn’t had the use of her thumb (or really her brain) for several days. I’ve wanted to share the beautiful flower arrangements for Thanksgiving that I ordered via the Club, and the interesting shots Bill […]

Ocean Walk Way Still Not Repaired

Resident’s Beach House Delights

It’s hard to know what the best thing about the Resident’s Beach House is. I love that the little kids can play in the sand while their elders sip cocktails. I love that we can sit so close to the Pacific. I know I’m in love with the Chinese style steamed fish, but that’s not […]

Protect Our Beautiful Coastline

The US Military is proposing to use the Kohala Coast for military exercises beginning next year. At the least, these Exercises would harm the whales and dolphins, and mar the tranquility of the ocean we love. Please read the letter below from Mary Spears, which explains how you can voice your opinions about the proposal.

Rainbow’s End

I always suspected it, but there’s proof now. The rainbow’s end is at Hualalai. Aloha Canoe Club!
