An Out of This World Report🌔

Monday morning at Hualalai started with a beautiful sunrise. Then it was time for the eclipse to begin. Although it was a bit cloudy and we were just a little bit in the path of the eclipse , I was happy I had my Eclipse Glasses so I could see this celestial marvel.

This and That! A Mixed Holiday Bag!

Good morning on this mid-December day! Filled with Hanukah latkes, I’m now taking a rest and looking forward to all the Christmas cookies I’m going to eat. I hope I won’t be mistaken for a stuffed NeNe. It’s that time of year❣️❣️

Today we have a mixed bag of seasonal goodies. Bill McDowell has shared […]

Your Editor is Back at Hualalai!

After spending the summer on the mainland, your editor is back where she belongs! It was wonderful to visit with family and friends, but we’re so glad to be home. And what a welcome we got!

Hurricane Douglas Passed Us By

Hualalai lies in a protected area and we barely felt the effects of Douglas as he roared by away from us. Here are a few shots from the 24 hours. The first is from the night before. The next three are from the morning of July 26.

Talk Story Times

Having the leisure to do whatever you want whenever you want is why people call Hualalai their happy place. It’s like when, at the end of a great day, you can wander down to the Canoe Club with no plan other than to watch the sunset’s full roll out.

Running into friends and talking […]
