It doesn’t happen often, but today a family of Nene’s (Hawaiian geese) was spotted on the fifth hole of the Hualalai Course. They tend to be spotted up country but not down here. One Nene was banded.

According to David Chai: This is a temporary holding tank for 600 kampachi, 300 of which will be going to stock Kona Village ponds and 300 for our Resort restaurants. They need to be held for 21 days in this quarantine tank prior to stocking.
