photo by David Taran The staff has been busy preparing for winter storms that bring high surf. The heliotrope tree at Beach Tree is being protected by large boulders brought in yesterday. The highest berms I’ve ever seen have been built in front of the Resident’s Beach House. No snow plows have been necessary.

Just yesterday a gecko came in for a visit, a mongoose strolled through the shower garden, Francolins roosted by the lanai, and birds flew in and out.
