When: August 6th 2010, from 7:30 am-11:30 am
Where: Sign up ahead with club concierge; confirm preregistration on August 5th at the Canoe Club or by telephone with Daniel at 345-6208; the race will take place at the Canoe Club on August 6th.
Who: The race is for Members, Immediate Family, and Extended Family Members. There is a Keiki Race and a Stand Up Paddling Race, which will follow the same format.
How: Since the race is a mixed division (for guys and girls) we are asking if you can sign up with a 1:1 ratio of men and women, that is 1 man per 1 women. This year we are drawing for teams in order to create a more balanced and fun race atmosphere. So, after we get all the names together on August 5th, after confirmations, we will be attempting to evenly draw names from a women’s bowl, and a men’s bowl until we’ve achieved a near equal ratio (2:2) of men and women for every team.
