What’s up at Hualalai🌴

Aloha, my Hualalai Club Ohana,

I’m starting with an apology for the almost non-existent blog this winter that is rooted in your editor’s reaction to the excessive vog.

I and many others suffer from all the symptoms listed–it’s the fatigue and dizziness that bother me the most as well as the brain vog. Even sitting at the computer seems like a challenge and I end up napping several times a day! For me and others, we know that if we can’t see Maui, we should not go outside. (I don’t want to seem like an irrational complainer, but I did ask Lloyd Gillespie to turn off Kilauea. Just kidding. Not about the part of asking Lloyd to turn it off, but he knew I was kidding.) I get daily updates from the USGS Daily Elevated Volcano Activity Summary. Episode 15 had lava shooting 1000 feet into the air. 🤞crossed that this eruption seems different than the 14 before it.
