Thanks, everyone, for sharing your photos and videos so we could share it with those who wanted to know what had happened here at Hualalai in the aftermath of the tsunami.
Now we would like to relay the stories about neighbors helping neighbors and the progress that is being made in cleaning up and restoring Hualalai and Kona Village.
One quick story: We went down to the hotel on Friday morning to see what had happened during the night. A number of hotel guests were moving their luggage up to the lobby. One of the guests stopped to talk to us and told us that she was a banker and stayed at Four Seasons often. She said that the resort and hotel staff were outstanding in their helping the guests cope with this event. She said she couldn’t have been more pleased!
