Hualalai’s ocean front felt the effects of the warning-level surf that closed some of the beaches on Hawaii Island. The spectacular waves are coinciding with another round of extreme early-morning high tides. This makes for a glorious but messy sight. I don’t know about you, but I’m blown away that this year is 2020. I still remember worrying about turning to 2000 and what it was going to do to our computers. A friend of ours bought a generator in case everything went dark. And here we are, twenty years later. It seemed to go […] I went on my walk yesterday without my Wellingtons. (Who knew I’d need them.) I ended up with soaked shoes and sand to my ankles. It was gorgeous! Thank you to the landscape staff who were there to clean up the ocean’s fury even as it continued to pound onto shore.
