Last year, Nick participated in his first Run for Hope, a charity event designated to raise funds for cancer research and patient assistance on the Big Island of Hawaii. Nick boasted of his Iimpromptu running partner, who turned out to win first place in the category of Women Aged 60-70 Years Old. The tale of his run lead to Marti gifting Nick with a t-shirt of her own creation, “Nick runs after older women…way after.”
This year Nick is advancing his quest from the 5K to the 10K run in representation of the Hualalai Club Concierge and is seeking sponsors to support his effort. He’s been training with his new partner, Wilson, and is determined to surpass his second place finish in the Women’s 60-70 Year Old division.
