I had my rattan club chairs repaired by Bill of Bills Furniture repair in Kona. Our experience was so exceptional that I thought it might be nice to pass along his info to our members.
Jim and I have 2 very lovely big rattan club chairs with custom cushions (matching the two large sofas in the great room) and the whole bit. Well, I’ve attached a photo to show you how they looked…all ripped up on both sides and a couple of pieces missing from the other chair. Island Furniture (who supposedly does repairs, but really might want to just sell you new stuff) said to throw them away…
We contacted Bill, sent him the photo, and he said he could do the repair. He came to the house and picked up the chair, was on time, and returned it looking just like new. I can’t believe how well he matched the rattan. He is a true artist. When he returned the chair (also was on time) he repaired the other chair, right here which needed a “little” bit of repair work.
