We want to thank Charlie for his kokua and aloha in navigating us through this complex time in the history of Hualalai Four Seasons. I think we’ve made it to the other side!
A Note From Charlie Aloha Everyone, The team at the resort continue to be very busy as we plan and look forward to the upcoming Holiday Season! The Members Festive Brochure was released earlier this week with the Festive desk accepting reservations from Tuesday, October 26th. We look forward to celebrating with you! Next week we welcome Aaron Grant as the Club General Manager. As previously shared, Aaron joins us from Kohanaiki and brings with him 20 years of Club experience. I know Aaron is eager to start his new role and to meeting all our members over the coming months. Thank you again to Alessandro for his leadership in the absence of a General Manager!
As it relates to COVID 19, it has been encouraging to see case counts continue to fall on Island. However, it is important that we continue to maintain our protocols and remain vigilant. The weekly employee testing program, announced in August, has been working effectively and we continue to offer vaccine clinics here at the resort for our employees. The resort has also been a partner of the ‘Hotels for Healthcare Heroes’ as we show our gratitude and appreciation for our healthcare professionals here on island. Finally, I am excited to share that the Hotel Room and Suite renovation is coming to a conclusion! All major works are complete as we focus on some final details and snagging. We are particularly thrilled with the new Presidential Villas which will certainly help maintain Hualālai’s position as a world-class resort destination. As ever, I look forward to seeing you around the Club. Mahalo, Charlie H. Parker,General Manager Four Seasons Resort Hualālai

(All was well at our house. We did have a chandelier sway for ten minutes.) Tiare Rose Opening at The Shops at Mauna Lani. Poised to redefine the architecture of shopping and revolutionize the way people buy, Tiare Rose is bringing an entertaining, easy and elevated way to engage in retail on the Big Island, officially opening November 6, 2021 at The Shops at Mauna Lani.
Tiare Rose launched their multi-channel retail model in March with an e-commerce site, live shopping, and original brick-and-mortar location in Sun Valley, Idaho. It quickly became apparent that shoppers were craving more from their previous, single-channel retail experiences. Tiare Rose uses a mix of in-person and digital events to help their clients discover new and unique pieces from curated collections of sustainable-luxe goods.
At the Hawaii store, Tiare Rose will offer experiential weekly Aloha Fridays to connect the community and visitors with local brands and emerging designers while providing educational insight into a variety of beauty practices and products. For those seeking convenience, Tiare Rose is launching its new mobile retail service, Vacay Valet, where everything needed for vacation is waiting for tourists upon arrival. Whichever experience customers choose, Tiare Rose is poised to be their source for style on the Big Island and when back home. “We want to create a memorable experience that visitors and residents alike can delight in, from discovering new local, sustainable and elevated brands to sipping on craft mocktails and meeting stellar creators at our Aloha Friday events to receiving the convenience of Vacay Valet, same day delivery and shipping to the mainland,” says founder Kim Castelano. photo by David Taran If you want to check on the air quality around your home, breezometer.com is helpful. Before the volcano erupted on Wednesday, Hualalai was in the green.
Google: PM 2.5: The term fine particles, or particulate matter 2.5 (PM2.5), refers to tiny particles or droplets in the air that are two and one half microns or less in width. Like inches, meters and miles, a micron is a unit of measurement for distance. There are about 25,000 microns in an inch.
The vog (it’s mild so far) makes for vivid sunsets!
