HPA Student Sells Original Earings at Trading Post on February 9th

Sarah Emmons is selling to raise funds for her trip to Japan with HPA, where she is a straight A student.  She is the daughter of long time, former Hualalai employee Kirk Emmons.

Hi, my name is Sarah and I am the owner of Sarah-Gami Jewelry.  I am 14 and attend 8^th grade at HPA.  I enjoy playing the piano reading and doing origami.  The first origami I ever learned was the paper crane and ever since then I have been hooked!  What inspired me to start my business was the summer art class that I took at Donkey Mill Art Center.  I learned the art of jewelry making and some new origami techniques, I even created a design of my own, the flat square. Now I am saving up so that I can go to Japan with my Japanese class in March. I hope you enjoy my earrings and use them well.
