DIVOT PLACEMENT WITH JAKE BELVEAL
When breaking down your swing and contact point with the ball and the ground, knowing where your divot placement is will help you learn a lot about your swing.
By transferring our weight toward the target on the downswing portion of our golf swing, we can make our center of gravity move forward of the ball. This will create a divot in front of the ball instead of behind.
Next time you are at the range or playing a round, keep a mental note of this and see where you end up so you can adjust.
