Aloha Club Members,
Storm Flossie is long past the Big Island & Maui and has since been downgraded to a Tropical depression as it continues to move away from the Big Island, westward along the Hawaiian Island chain.
Maui had evening thunder storms which caused a power outage, however, Hualalai Resort weathered the storm with nearly no impact other than a temporary closure of the Residents’ Beach House and other minor operational adjustments. Yesterday, the impact from Flossie was relatively limited; with just some strong wind gusts and occasional rain throughout the day and evening.
Today, the weather is back to normal at Hualalai and we are all enjoying another beautiful and warm summer day! If you are going to be at Hualalai this weekend and have not yet signed up for Friday’s Regatta or Sunday’s Summer Bash at Ke’olu, please do so and we hope to see you then.
Mahalo for any inconvenience yesterday during the restaurant dining modifications, your patience was greatly appreciated.
Warmest Aloha,
John Freitas
