Chris Larson, son of Kip Larson is remembered.

Kip Larson, who has worked at the Beach House as a waiter and bartender for many years, has lost his son, Chris, to an accident a week or so ago. Chris was in his early twenties; a great young man who was just beginning what promised to be a wonderful life. He was hit by a car while crossing the street one evening in Flagstaff, AZ.  Some of us knew Chris through Kip’s great pride in him. Others of us were fortunate enough to know him ourselves when he used to work various odd jobs around the island, often with his dad.  A small memorial service led by Uncle Earl was held on the beach by NELHA.
