Thanks to Barbara Britt Jingles, a semi wild cat who lived in a small lava cave off Lipoa Street was found deceased in his little home this past Monday. According to a few members Jingles was about 14 years old, confirmed by his last visit to a vet. Many members would leave food for Jingles and looked after him. […] Bob and Kathy Styer sent this photo taken on the top of Haleakala Monday Morning. Thanks to Kathy Styer Sunday night the weather turned around 6PM. The wind picked up and rain started falling, lightning flashed and thunder rumbled. Over the next 4- 6 hours the storm continued and about 4 inches of rain soaked Hualalai. Then in the morning we all woke to see an extemely rare sight: the peak of Haleakala mountain […] Thanks again Bill McDowel; The sky lit up the other night from lightening.
