Post Iselle…not much happened at Hualalai

Aloha Club Member,

I hope you had a safe and uneventful night.

Hurricane Iselle was kind to Hualalai last night and there is basically no damage with only minor scattered debris.   However, there is still the threat of heavy rains and some wind and based on the current weather report, it is likely we will see some of both.

The staff is busy resetting the resort and as such, there is quite a bit of activity in many of the operations.  Therefore, we would appreciate you remaining in your homes until at least 8:00 am.

As we shared with you yesterday, we are planning on restoring resort operations at 9:00 a.m. this morning with the following modifications:

Operations Opening Earlier than 9:00 a.m.

*  Trading Company and Coffee Company are open

*  The Cardio and Strength gyms at the Sports Club are preparing to open at approximately 8:30 a.m.

Lunch Service Modifications

*  Lunch WILL be offered at the Hualalai Grille from 11:30 a.m. – 1:45 p.m.

*  Lunch will NOT be offered at the Residents’ Beach House today

*  Lunch will NOT be offered at Beach Tree today

*  Poolside food and beverage services will be limited

*  Beaches remain closed for the day

It is our hope that there will not be any additional weather updates necessary regarding this storm system.  We will, however, continue to monitor Hurricane Julio and keep you informed.

We appreciate your patience and cooperation over the past several days and apologize for any inconvenience.

Mahalo,

John
