It has been 20 years since the first light at W.M. Keck Observatory on the top of Mauna Kea.  Over the past years Hualalai has hosted various astronomers who have opened the door to the magic of space.  From March 13 -19 there are numerous events occurring on the island and at our resort that will celebrate the observatory’s anniversary.

Twenty of Keck Observatory’s most distinguished astronomers will be presenting Keck’s top discoveries at a scientific conference and we are all invited to attend along with the other events.

The centerpiece of the week is Star Struck, a gala here at Hualalai on March 16, 2013 where we will dine and dance with and under the stars and bid on extra ordinary auction items.
