It was my first morning back to Hawaii. We’d been gone for three months and I was thrilled to just sit on my lanai and savor Hualalai’s serenity. Then I heard the unmistakable sound of a helicopter’s rotator blades coming closer…and closer. I looked up and sure enough saw a helicopter approach, low enough that I could wave. Someone inside waved back as they landed. It turned out their mission was to pick up an air conditioning unit for the new ULU.
