A Department Like No Other
The Four Seasons Resort Hualālai sits on a culturally historical coastline with rich resources and history. David Chai, the director of the Natural Resources Department knew the importance of place within the Hawaiian culture and knew that he had a responsibility to help care for this place. Working alongside the developers and ownership Chai helped designed a concept for a Department to ensure that this place and its resources were taken care of.
