‘Ohana Kokua Kit Round 2 Distribution
On Wednesday, June 17, The Ohana Foundation will be distributing an additional 237 ‘Ohana Kokua Kits to Hualalai employees.
The furloughed employee distribution will take place outside of the Ohana Foundation offices. There will be a drive-thru Kokua Kit pickup from 9 am to noon.
“We invite you all to come to join us and share your aloha and shakas with employees as they pick up their Kokua Kits. We are mindful of social distancing and the distribution will be done in 3 blocks to ensure things run smoothly,” said Nico Verissimo, the director of the Hualalai Ohana Foundation.
As was in the first round, employees will receive a customized combination of gift cards from local grocers and retailers like KTA Super Stores, Foodland, Target, Costco and Helco utility subsidies. Gratefully, many of these businesses once again stepped up to provide additional cards on our purchase.
The support provided by the Crisis Response Fund has made a tremendous impact on employee well-being and has helped them be able to feed their families during some very difficult times.
