Temperature Checking Station News

As the days go by and one disaster seems to follow another, it is comforting to know that Hualalai is still here. In this photo by Bill McDowell, the sky seems to echo the drama of the chaos. But the land and sea also calms us. With all the uncertainty, we know the sun will rise and it will set. The ocean will ebb and it will flow. And we know all will be well.

I want to thank the amazing Hualalai staff who have taken care of us who are hunkering at Hualalai. In these difficult times, when so much is changing day-to-day, the staff has consistently looked out for members’ best interests. The next step, opening up in approved CoVid ways has got to take the talent and expertise of a military operation. Mahalo for everything.

Temperature Checking StationBeginning June 2, Tuesday, in the Trading Company parking lot near the concierge offices.    9:00 to noon, 1:00 to 3:00 PM, no appointment necessary. One way Hualalai Club is helping everyone stay well, is by implementing an on-site, temperature checking protocol to help reduce the risk of viral CoVid 19 spread at Hualalai. Members will receive a color-coded wristband, valid for 7 days. Members and guests are required to wear their Successful Temperature Check bands to all facilities. They must be renewed after 7 days.
