One of the benefits of slowing down and staying put is the opportunity to look at what’s around us and actually see it. Foliage abounds at my feet, but I rarely stop to appreciate it.
Sunsets and sunrises are vivid at this time of year. Interestingly, clouds enhance them. Sometimes when you think it is too clouded over, the sun bursts through in glowing colors. (photos by Bill McDowell)
