Ke’olu Olive Oil Tasting and Dinner
Ke’olu’s olive oil tasting and dinner was a huge success. Maria Paola Gabusi, an internationally recognized extra virgin olive oil expert, was so informative (as well as charming). I learned so much about olive oil that it will change my life. (a snippet of info: keep olive oil in a dark, cool place to increase its longevity. Also, don’t buy large sizes of olive oil. ) We sampled six different extra virgin olive oils, becoming semi-experts, ourselves. (Well, at least we learned how to sample them.) Then we savored the five-course inventive meal Chef Michael expertly prepared and served. The whole evening was one of elegance and flair. Congratulations to Heidi Svendsen, Events Coordinator, Shelbie Sanoria and the whole Ke’olu staff.
